Design you can hear - Open-ear audio directs sound to your ears, letting you discreetly access Alexa. You can choose to have Echo Frames automatically adjust the volume based on the noise level of your environment, before audio plays. With your ears uncovered, you’ll be able to hear without blocking out the world around you.
Do more with Alexa - You can do more than ask for news, reminders, and calls. Play that new song on repeat, add ingredients to your shopping list, turn off lights at home when you think you forgot—and do it all with your phone in your pocket.
Hears what matters most - Use VIP Filter to select the notifications you want to hear from any app on your phone, and filter out the rest. Alexa will alert you when new notifications come in–just swipe the temple to listen. All notifications will still show up on your phone.

How do I add prescription lenses to Echo Frames? Check with your preferred eyewear professional and share these instructions to get prescription lenses for your frames. Prescription lenses can also be fulfilled at any local LensCrafters location. Echo Frames are made to fit most prescriptions, but if you find that they do not work with yours, we offer free returns. How does Amazon open-ear audio work? Amazon open-ear audio uses 4 micro speakers designed to direct sound toward your ears and minimize sound heard by those around you. Echo Frames can also measure the noise level of your environment and automatically adjust the volume accordingly before audio plays. You can use the volume controls on the frames to adjust the level at any time.
Can I turn off the microphones on my Echo Frames? Echo Frames are designed to protect your privacy. You can turn the microphones off by double-pressing the action button any time. When the mics are off the light indicator will turn red and your Echo Frames will no longer be able to detect the wake word (“Alexa”). Battery and power |
Get over 2 hours of talk time, Alexa interactions, and media playback over a 14-hour day at 80% volume. The 2 hours includes 20 Alexa interactions, 85 minutes of music, podcast or other audio playback, 30 minutes of phone calls, and 90 incoming notifications. Alternatively, a fully charged battery will last up to 4 hours of continuous audio playback or 3.5 hours of continuous talk time at 80% volume. Fully charges in approximately 1 hour 45 minutes. Actual battery life will vary depending on device settings, features utilized, environment and other factors. Testing was conducted by Amazon in a lab environment with preproduction Echo Frames (2nd Gen) using prerelease software and a prerelease version of the Alexa app on both iPhone and Android phones. Returns and Refunds
Items may be exchanged or returned for a full refund, less any vendor shipping and handling costs, up to 14 days after they have been delivered. When returning your item, please contact us for a prepaid return shipping label.
To be eligible for a refund, the item must be returned in its original condition and original packaging within 14 days of receipt.
If the item is not in its original condition and packaging, we can only accept a return if the item is defective.
If you received a damaged or defective item we can replace the item for you free of charge. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
