FAQ

Does Wyze Switch require a neutral wire?

Yes, this switch does require neutral wiring, which is common in homes built after 1980. If you do not have a neutral wire, your wiring is not compatible with Wyze Switch.

How long does it take to install the switch?

About 20 minutes, following the step by step installation process in the Wyze app.

Is this compatible with 3-way and 4-way switches?

No, this is a single pole switch only. It cannot be used as a multi-way switch.

How does the response time compare to a regular switch?

The response when you press the switch is instant, similar to the response time of a regular switch when smart controls are disabled. With smart controls enabled, there’s a delay of .3s with a single-press.

Does Wyze Switch come in different colors?

No, Wyze Switch only comes in white at this time.

Can I use Wyze Switch to control other Wyze products?

Yes, Wyze Switch can be used to interact with the entire Wyze ecosystem of smart products. You can even setup triggers and actions using Rules.

Does Wyze Switch integrate with smart assistants?

Yes, the switch works with Alexa and Google Assistant.

Can Wyze Switch interact with other, non-Wyze smart devices? (E.g. Philips Hue bulbs)

Yes, Wyze Switch can interact with smart devices outside the Wyze ecosystem by integrating it with IFTTT.

Can the switch be used as a dimmer?

No, Wyze Switch is not a dimmer switch.

Can I use it in a 3-gang or 4-gang setup?

Yes, Wyze Switch can be used for multi-gang setup, but be aware of the maximum loads per switch: 1 gang= 600W, 2 gang= 500W, 3 gang = 500W.

Shipping and Delivery

We offer free shipping within Canada on all orders.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number that will let you view more details about the status of your order.

Returns and Refunds

Items may be exchanged or returned for a full refund, less any vendor shipping and handling costs, up to 14 days after they have been delivered. When returning your item, please contact us for a prepaid return shipping label.

To be eligible for a refund, the item must be returned in its original condition and original packaging within 14 days of receipt.

If the item is not in its original condition and packaging, we can only accept a return if the item is defective.

If you received a damaged or defective item we can replace the item for you free of charge. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Some items may not be eligible for a refund or may only be eligible for a refund if they are unopened, unused and sealed due to vendor restrictions. Please review the item's webpage on our website to view these restrictions.

Due to the unique nature of the items purchased on our website, we cannot accept returns for items that do not perform as expected due to Canadian compatibility issues or items that do not suit the desired needs of the user.
