Temperature Preferences - Keep the temperature where you want it. Temperature Preferences lets you customize 3 settings for when you’re home, away, or asleep.

Scheduling - Truly control your thermostat. After setting your Home, Away, and Sleep preferences, use Scheduling to program your thermostat for one week, each individual day of the week, any group of days, or a few hours at a time. Create schedules for every weekday and weekend so you don’t have to keep going back and forth to your thermostat.

Auto Switch - Wyze Thermostat sets the temperature based on where you are, automatically. Auto Switch uses your phone’s Bluetooth to switch between your Home and Away preferences whenever you leave or enter a 3-mile geo-fenced radius around your home.

Coast to Cool - Keep it cool, while saving energy. Wyze Thermostat signals your compressor to turn off before the end of a cooling cycle and keeps the fan on to blow the remaining cool air into your home.

Safety Temps - Not too hot, not too cold. Safety Temps helps protect your home from extreme cold or hot weather by turning on your heating or cooling system when your set limits are reached.

Differential Temp - Customize the temperature difference before the system kicks in. The smaller/larger the difference, the sooner/longer before the system calls to heat or cool the space back to your set temperature.

Fan Circulation- Let Wyze Thermostat control your fan independently. This lets air continue to circulate throughout your home without any additional heating or cooling using up energy.

Minimum Run Time - Extend the life of your HVAC system. Use the Minimum Run Time feature to set the minimum amount of time the system should run for after you’ve turned it on, even if it’s been manually turned off.

Swap Heat and Cool - Refine how Wyze Thermostat functions after setup. If your heating system is turning on your AC, or your AC is turning on your heating when testing the thermostat, this feature swaps the output of the wiring without having to change which terminals the wires are plugged into.

Energy usage tracking - Receive energy saving tips based on usage history. Like an energy-saving gnome inside your phone, the Wyze app will recommend actionable insights based on your usage to help reduce wasted energy.

Max Overcool - Manage excess humidity with a tap. Wyze Thermostat can help control the humidity in your home by running your AC past your set point, which will move excess moisture out.

Works with Alexa (Google Assistant coming soon!) - Tell Alexa to turn up the heat for you, no need to get up. Wyze Thermostat works with your Alexa-enabled devices to control your thermostat with your voice. 

Sharing - Ready to let someone else control your Wyze Thermostat? Now that’s trust! Give your friends and family access to your thermostat from the Wyze app.

Units - By default, Wyze Thermostat is set to Fahrenheit, but you can change it to Celsius in your Settings.

Compatibility

FAQ

Will Wyze Thermostat still work if my WiFi connection drops? Yes, Wyze Thermostat will continue operating based on the last updated schedule. You can also control your temperature or change the status from the thermostat itself.

Is Wyze Thermostat ENERGY STAR approved? No, not at this time. We're working towards qualifying for ENERGY STAR approval for Wyze Thermostat.

How long does it take to install Wyze Thermostat? About 30 minutes! And all the tools you need are included in the box, though a power drill might be helpful.

Does Wyze Thermostat have Alexa built-in? Wyze Thermostat works with Alexa, but it does not have an internal speaker and Alexa is not built-in. You'll need to own an Echo speaker (or another device with Alexa) to control your thermostat with your voice.

Will Wyze Thermostat work with electric baseboard heating? No, the thermostat does not work with electric baseboard heating, which is a high voltage (120V or 240V) heating system. Wyze Thermostat was made to control low voltage (24V) heating systems only.

Do I need to have a C-wire, or “common” wire? Yes, the C-wire powers Wyze Thermostat. Don’t have a C-wire? We’ve included a C-wire adapter in the box.

Is my current wiring compatible with Wyze Thermostat? Check your voltage! Wyze Thermostat is compatible with low voltage (24V) systems such as forced air, hydronic, heat pump (including dual fuel), oil, gas and electric. It is compatible with most single-stage and multi-stage conventional and heat pump heating and cooling systems.

Will Wyze Thermostat work if the power goes out? No, the thermostat will not work if the electricity goes out. It will automatically reconnect and resume its schedule once power returns.

Does Wyze Thermostat work with Wyze Sense sensors? Yes, using the Rules feature in the Wyze app.

I have 2 thermostats in my home. Can I use Wyze Thermostat? If your 2 thermostats are controlling 2 different HVAC systems, then yes. You can use 2 Wyze Thermostats to control each system.

Shipping and Delivery

We offer free shipping within Canada on all orders.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number that will let you view more details about the status of your order.

Returns and Refunds

Items may be exchanged or returned for a full refund, less any vendor shipping and handling costs, up to 14 days after they have been delivered. When returning your item, please contact us for a prepaid return shipping label.

To be eligible for a refund, the item must be returned in its original condition and original packaging within 14 days of receipt.

If the item is not in its original condition and packaging, we can only accept a return if the item is defective.

If you received a damaged or defective item we can replace the item for you free of charge. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Some items may not be eligible for a refund or may only be eligible for a refund if they are unopened, unused and sealed due to vendor restrictions. Please review the item's webpage on our website to view these restrictions.

Due to the unique nature of the items purchased on our website, we cannot accept returns for items that do not perform as expected due to Canadian compatibility issues or items that do not suit the desired needs of the user.
