Maintenance

Routine maintenance keeps your air-purifying headphones performing as they should

Visor - Your visor is engineered to be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth. Let dry before re-attaching.

Filter replacement - The MyDyson™ app displays remaining filter life, and notifies you when they need replacing. This varies depending on air quality. A pulsing pink LED on the ear cup also shows when it's time to replace the filters.

Frequently asked questions

Is it possible to answer phone calls? Yes, we have developed a beam forming microphone that can isolate and pick up the wearers voice & provide feedback into the headset so the wearer can hear their own voice. Just dip the visor when wearing to activate. 

How have you designed for comfort? Using head and face geometry data from across the world, we have engineered the Dyson Zone™ air-purifying headphones for optimum comfort on an extremely broad range of face shapes. The visor and headband are adjustable, and a lot of research went into the choice of ear and headband cushion. The headband cushion takes inspiration from the shape of a horse saddle, helping to distribute weight over the sides of the head as well as the top.

What is the battery life? As the Dyson Zone™ air-purifying headphones combine purification and audio, the battery capacity had to be significantly more than conventional, audio-only headphones. The battery life will depend on the mode you are using it in – the lowest battery life will be when the purification speed is set to high, with ANC on. For audio-only, the product has a run time of up to 50 hours. For audio and purification the run time will be Long-life battery is up to 4 hours. Auto on-off saves energy when not in use.

What pollutants do the filters capture? The filters capture particles as small as 0.1 microns, such as pollen, dust and bacteria. The carbon filter captures city pollution gases including NO2 and SO2.

Is Dyson Zone connected to Bluetooth? The Dyson Zone™ air-purifying headphones connects to the MyDysonTM app which enables tracking of air quality data, switch audio settings, know when to recharge or even replace a filter. You'll also be able to connect to platforms such as Spotify and Apple music through Bluetooth™ enabled products and play music through the device from there.

How does the auto on/off function work? The auto on/off function works by placing the machine into an idle state when removed by the user, to conserve energy. When using the idle function, the headphones will still use battery power and if left for long periods will need charging as the battery will be low. To take the headphones with air purification out of idle mode simply place them back onto your head.

Can I clean the visor? The visor can be wiped clean, as can the full product. The ear cushions are removable if required.

Is the visor adjustable? Both the visor and headband can be adjusted for best fit. The Dyson Zone™ air-purifying headphones have been relentlessly tested in development for different head and face geometries.

What are the three Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) modes? The three ANC modes are Isolation mode, Conversation mode and Transparency mode.
Isolation mode provides the highest level of active noise cancellation to deliver a rich, immersive audio experience – for example when you might need to concentrate on the task at hand.
Conversation mode automatically activates when you dip the visor – turning purification off to conserve battery power and amplify the conversation.
Transparency mode enables greater awareness of your surroundings, by boosting audio frequencies so you can hear while wearing the product

How long will my filters last? The lifetime of your filters will depend on the level of air pollution they are exposed to. Your MyDyson™ app will let you know when your filters need changing.

Can you exercise and play sports while wearing the Dyson Zone air-purifying headphones? The Dyson Zone™ air-purifying headphones deliver clean air to the wearer’s nose and mouth and adjust to the level of your physical activity. They can be used when at the gym or when taking part in some non-contact sports like jogging. We wouldn’t recommend wearing them for any sports that could cause them to become damaged.

We offer free shipping within Canada on all orders.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number that will let you view more details about the status of your order.

Returns and Refunds

Items may be exchanged or returned for a full refund, less any vendor shipping and handling costs, up to 14 days after they have been delivered. When returning your item, please contact us for a prepaid return shipping label.

To be eligible for a refund, the item must be returned in its original condition and original packaging within 14 days of receipt.

If the item is not in its original condition and packaging, we can only accept a return if the item is defective.

If you received a damaged or defective item we can replace the item for you free of charge. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Due to the unique nature of the items purchased on our website, we cannot accept returns for items that do not perform as expected due to Canadian compatibility issues or items that do not suit the desired needs of the user.
