FAQS:

How does the 180-degree full-angle view help users? With a 180-degree view, you can set up Wyze Cam Floodlight Pro on a wall or under an eave and get full coverage of the entire front side. That essentially means you can eliminate blind spots.

How is vision AI motion sensing better than traditional motion sensors? Traditional motion sensors will sense any movement with heat as motion. Most time we only care about meaningful motions, such as humans or vehicles, not raindrops or falling leaves. Onboard AI motion sensing is a more state-of-the-art technology to detect motions. It naturally works well with other AI features to reduce false alarms.

What is BLE (Bluetooth® Low Energy) used for? BLE means a fast and easy initial device setup, powered by Bluetooth®. That will save you the hustle of climbing up the ladder and scanning the QR code.

What's the range of motion detection? Wyze Cam Floodlight Pro can detect motion up to 30 feet away. Refine the range further with customized detection zones for motion-activated light and event recording.

Can I change the colour temperature of the Floodlight LED? No, the color temperature is not customizable.

Can I change the brightness of the Floodlight? Yes, the floodlight LED is dimmable. The maximum brightness is 3000 lumens.

What is the image resolution of Wyze Cam Floodlight Pro in 2K? The image resolution is 2560 x 1440.

Is Wyze Cam Floodlight Pro hardwired? Yes, it should connect to a junction box.

Does Wyze Cam Floodlight Pro support 5GHz WiFi? Yes, both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz are supported. Users can select one to connect to meet their needs.

Does Wyze Cam Floodlight Pro have a battery? No, Wyze Cam Floodlight Pro requires hard-wired power.

Is Wyze Cam Floodlight Pro weatherproof? Yes, Wyze Cam Floodlight Pro is IP65-rated.

Can I store video recordings locally on a microSD card? Yes, Wyze Cam Floodlight Pro has a microSD card slot that allows you to record 24/7 and store videos locally. The microSD card slot supports up to 256GB, formatted as exFAT or FAT32. Note: A MicroSD card is not included. 

What is a motion-activated light? When motion is detected during the scheduled time of the day, the floodlight turns on for a customized period of time and turns off. The motion type and schedule are customizable. Users can enable/disable this motion-activated light in the Floodlight Setting in the Wyze app. Note that the motion-activated light is enabled by default with a schedule from sunset to sunrise. Detection zones can be customized in the Wyze app as well.

What is the ambient light mode? Ambient light mode keeps the Wyze Cam Floodlight Pro's LEDs illuminated softly between motion detections during the scheduled time of day. Users can enable this in settings within the Wyze app, and then customize the brightness and schedule for this mode—the default is 10% brightness from sunset to sunrise.

What is the Motion Warning feature on the Dection Settings page? Motion Warning is a security feature to warn and deter intruders. With this feature enabled, when a person is detected, the camera speaker will play a voice clip every 10 seconds, announcing that the intruder is currently being recorded.

Can I attach additional cameras? No, you cannot. Wyze Cam Floodlight Pro does not offer the ability to add/power additional cameras. Its increased 180° field-of-view and 2.5K resolution offers more coverage in greater detail. Gone are the days of needing to check multiple live streams or getting duplicate notifications from the same motion. If you need an additional port, to power a second camera, please consider checking the Wyze Cam Floodlight.

Returns and Refunds

Items may be exchanged or returned for a full refund, less any vendor shipping and handling costs, up to 14 days after they have been delivered. When returning your item, please contact us for a prepaid return shipping label.

To be eligible for a refund, the item must be returned in its original condition and original packaging within 14 days of receipt.

If the item is not in its original condition and packaging, we can only accept a return if the item is defective.

If you received a damaged or defective item we can replace the item for you free of charge. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
