USAGE TIPS:
• The sensor pads require a hard/rigid surface to ensure proper contact with the mattress and detect all micro-movements (breathing sleep movements). If your crib/bed has a soft or spring base, simply place a wooden board (plywood) under the sensor pad(s).
• Do not use Babysense with a memory foam mattress or co-sleeper crib types (connected to the parent’s bed).

FAQs:
Q: Will this monitor work in a Graco pack 'n play?
A: You may experience issues with creating a firm connection, as the "base" is mesh. You will definitely need to use plywood beneath the sensors. Please be sure, that if it doesn't work we will refund your purchase.

Q: Can this product be used with a bassinet?
A: It can be used with a Basinett, you may just have to use plywood to ensure a firm connection and the wires can usually be directed out of the bassinet at the bottom where the side walls (material) touch the base.

Q: Will the alarm warn me if the alarm is out of the battery?
A: Yes, when the batteries start to weaken the monitor will start sounding a clicking sound.

Q: Will this work with a mattress thickness: of 6"?
A: Yes, it should work fine

Q: Will this work with the Simmons Slumbertime Naturally Mattress?
A: As long as it's not a moving bed or a co-sleeper it should work fine.

Q: Will this track the heart rate of the baby?
A: No

Q: Can a swaddle affect the monitoring process?
A: The crib needs to be perfectly still in order for the monitoring to work.

Q: Would this monitor work for a child who is sleeping on its belly?
A: Yes, it will work just fine.

Q: Will this work for a newborn bassinet?
A: Yes, it should work just fine, but it depends on the kind of bassinet you are using. As long as it is not a co-sleeper it should work.

Q: I have 3 questions. Does it have an audio where u can hear the baby's fussing? Along with that is there a separate parent unit that can sit in a separate room or a phone app? can it place on the wire bottom of the crib or will it need to be set on a board of some sort?
A: The breathing movement monitor does not have any audio receptors or transmitters, and also does not have a handheld unit for the parent. You would have to purchase a video monitor in order to use these features.
As for the wire crib - we recommend installing plywood underneath the sensors to make sure they work properly.

Q: If the baby stops breathing is there an alarm that warns me?
A: Yes there is. If for whatever reason, no breathing is detected within 20 seconds, or if the breath rate slows to less than 10 breaths per minute, a red LED light will illuminate and an audible alarm will sound.

Q: will this work with the newton baby crib mattress?
A: Yes, it will!

Returns and Refunds

Items may be exchanged or returned for a full refund, less any vendor shipping and handling costs, up to 14 days after they have been delivered. When returning your item, please contact us for a prepaid return shipping label.

To be eligible for a refund, the item must be returned in its original condition and original packaging within 14 days of receipt.

If the item is not in its original condition and packaging, we can only accept a return if the item is defective.

If you received a damaged or defective item we can replace the item for you free of charge. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
