How does the Ember Mug work?
The difference between the Ember Mug² and a normal mug is that, anything can keep something “Hot”, but only the Ember Mug² can keep your favorite hot beverage at your perfect drinking temperature. Whether you call it an electric mug or battery heated coffee mug, your Ember Mug² allows you to control your ideal temperature from our app

How do I use the Ember Mug?
Simply pour in your favorite hot beverage and let the Ember Mug² do the rest! The LED light will indicate when your Ember is trying to reach the perfect temperature and when it’s ready for you to enjoy. You can also connect the Ember to your smartphone via Bluetooth, by downloading the Ember app. The Ember app will allow you to adjust your preferred temperature, add preset temperatures, and notify you when your beverage has hit your perfect drinking temperature.

Can I put my Travel Mug² in the Microwave?
Do not microwave the Ember Mug! The Ember Mug is an electronic device, which should never go in a microwave. As with all electronics and metals, it may result in a fire when heated up in the microwave. Doing so will result in permanent damage to your Ember Mug or Ember Mug².

Do I have to have a smartphone for the Ember Mug to work?
No! Every Ember Mug² is preset to 135°F for you to enjoy right out of the box.

Using the mug independently will limit you from customizing specific features from the Ember mobile app such as adding a custom LED color or setting a specific preferred temperature between 120°F - 145°F.

How long does the Ember Mug battery last?
The Ember Travel Mug² was designed to last an average of three hours on the go. The three-hour battery life is expected when pouring in liquid hot, and at a set temperature of 135°F. If you like it cooler, your battery will last longer, and if you like it hotter, the battery will decrease slightly.

The battery life will also vary based on a number of external factors such as: external temperature, the liquid temperature at pour, speed of liquid consumption, set temperature, whether the lid is on or off, and much more.

Can I use MCT oils in the Ember Travel Mug?
This product is not designed to be used with MCT oils. MCT oils can sometimes be found in drink or food additives. MCT oils react with plastic materials and can degrade them, including the food-grade plastic used in the Ember Travel Mug² lid. MCT oils should only be used with utensils and containers made of metal, glass, ceramic, or materials specifically approved for MCT oils.

Is the Ember Mug compatible with my phone? (Android or Apple)
Due to iOS and Android bluetooth updates, not all phones may be compatible with the Ember App. Above is a list of tested phones compatible* with Ember’s app. Ember is continually adding more devices and improving their compatibility, so if you don't see your device on the list check back soon.

Shipping and Delivery

We offer free shipping within Canada on all orders.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number that will let you view more details about the status of your order.

Returns and Refunds

Items may be exchanged or returned for a full refund, less any vendor shipping and handling costs, up to 14 days after they have been delivered. When returning your item, please contact us for a prepaid return shipping label.

To be eligible for a refund, the item must be returned in its original condition and original packaging within 14 days of receipt.

If the item is not in its original condition and packaging, we can only accept a return if the item is defective.

If you received a damaged or defective item we can replace the item for you free of charge. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Due to the unique nature of the items purchased on our website, we cannot accept returns for items that do not perform as expected due to Canadian compatibility issues or items that do not suit the desired needs of the user.
